A Joyous Milestone: One Year of La Galerie by Myretroposter in Sitges
We're absolutely delighted to celebrate the first anniversary of La Galerie by Myretroposter in Sitges! This past year has been an incredible adventure, filled with the joy of meeting our wonderful customers face-to-face and sharing our creations directly with you.
Having a physical gallery has given us the chance to show off our posters as they were meant to be seen. Online, it's tough to do justice to large images designed to be appreciated from a distance. Often, our posters are only seen as small thumbnails, sometimes on a mobile phone, which really doesn't capture their full beauty. And while detailed views are helpful, they’re like looking at a poster from just 5cm away – it’s not the same experience.
In our gallery, visitors can fully appreciate the scale and intricate details of our work. We've been overwhelmed by the warm and enthusiastic welcome from the people of Sitges and Catalonia. Our posters featuring local spots like Vilanova, Garraf, Barcelona, and Tarragona have struck a special chord with the community, and it’s been heartwarming to see their smiles and excitement.
Tourists, too, have fallen in love with our collection, notably our postcards, which is a delightful surprise in the era of SMS and instant messages. While many will keep them as bookmarks or framed keepsakes, we like to believe that many will be sent to loved ones. Despite sending fewer letters these days, receiving a postcard is a delightful surprise that brightens anyone’s day – especially because they’ve become so rare.
Looking ahead, this gallery is just the beginning. The fantastic response has solidified our plans to expand. We're excited about the possibility of opening new boutiques, either independently or through partnerships and franchises. The success of La Galerie by Myretroposter in Sitges has validated our vision and fuels our passion to share our love for vintage-inspired travel posters with even more people.
