A simple nail could do or even some double-sided tape as they are extremely light weight. Hence if you are not allowed to make any holes in your rental's wall, getting your poster bounded on a rigid Gatorboard panel is the solution you're looking for.
Bounded on this hard board made of water resistant resin impregnated wood fibre substrate and protected with a matte lamination, your poster will just look great on the wall. Which is why poster panels are often used during exhibitions.
