Arugam Bay Posters | Limited Edition Art Prints

Arugam Bay is where Myretroposter began. What started as a few posters created for our own Upali Beach Surf Resort grew into the very first collection of vintage-inspired travel art by Alecse. These artworks honour the raw beauty of Sri Lanka’s east coast — its surf culture, golden light, tropical landscapes, and laid-back rhythm.

Each poster is crafted from real locations in and around Arugam Bay, from Okanda and Pottuvil Point to Peanut Farm and Whisky Point. Designed in Alecse’s signature blend of photography, line drawing, and digital painting, the series captures the soul of this iconic surf destination with a warm vintage aesthetic.

Available in eight sizes and printed on demand using museum-grade giclée techniques, these limited edition art prints bring a touch of Sri Lankan coastal magic to any interior.

Our Limited Edition Philosophy

Original art, made to be collected.

MyRetroPoster is an independent art publisher. Every artwork is an original creation by a living artist, human-made, not AI-generated, and never a reproduction of an existing vintage poster.

Our Standard Editions are limited to 300 prints across all sizes, while selected Collector Editions are released in smaller, individually numbered runs of 20 or 50.

Every print is produced to order directly from the artist’s master artwork. This approach preserves the integrity of each edition while avoiding unnecessary stock and overproduction.
