Visual description

This vintage-style composition features Anhangabaú Park in the heart of São Paulo. A statue framed by palm trees anchors the foreground, while the city’s architecture rises in the background, creating a calm dialogue between nature and skyline. The palette blends warm orange and deep purple tones, with top and bottom titles in purple and mastic hues, giving the artwork a classic travel-poster feel and a timeless decorative presence.

About the place

Located in central São Paulo, Parque Anhangabaú is both a landmark and a crossroads—where the city’s cultural life, history, and daily rhythm meet. Long shaped by urban transformations, it remains a symbolic space that captures São Paulo’s contrast between greenery, movement, and monumental scale.

Alecse’s artistic style

Alecse’s travel posters are created from real locations through a signature blend of photographic base, digital painting, and vintage-inspired finishes. The artwork is refined with textured effects and a carefully balanced graphic composition, echoing the charm of classic travel advertising while keeping a contemporary sense of atmosphere and detail.

Fun fact

The name Anhangabaú comes from Tupi and is often interpreted as “the river of evil spirits”—a reminder that São Paulo’s modern avenues were once shaped by the natural landscape that existed long before the city’s skyline.

A striking statement piece for a living room, office, or gallery wall—perfect for collectors who want their décor to feel personal, cultured, and quietly bold.

Alecse’s Vintage Style: blurs & grains

Alecse's Original Travel Posters are celebrated for their unique half-tone render, a signature style that plays a crucial role in their appeal and authenticity. This distinctive digital effect is intentionally used to mimic the old poster printing process, where colors were rendered by the juxtaposition of dots of different sizes and colors. This method is a nod to vintage aesthetics, giving each poster a classic, retro look that aficionados of vintage travel and retro posters appreciate.
