MyRetroposter™ was born from a simple idea — to bring back the soul of travel through art. We believe that posters are not mere decorations, but windows to emotion, memory, and discovery.

Our world is flooded with mass-produced decor, designed to please algorithms rather than people. At MyRetroposter, we go the opposite way: each poster is a limited edition, printed only on demand, and as close as possible to its destination. That’s not just a technical choice — it’s our way of protecting both authenticity and the planet.

Our Story

The journey began in 2017, when Alecse™ created a few posters for a surf resort he had designed in Sri Lanka. They became so popular among travelers that the idea of reimagining the world through art was born.

In 2018, MyRetroposter.com was launched with friends Ryan and Pamela — and the project quickly grew beyond expectations. In 2020, Cha™ (also known as Shree), French artist and Alecse’s partner in life and art, joined the adventure, enriching the collections with her bold colors and feminine energy through The Great Indian Décor™, Vintage Exotics™, Wanderer Maps™ and Spanish Capsule™.

In 2023, we opened our first physical gallery — La Galerie by MyRetroposter — in Sitges, near Barcelona, a space dedicated to showcasing our creations, meeting collectors, and sharing stories from around the world.

Limited Editions, Infinite Stories

All our posters are limited editions — most capped at 300 copies, some in Collector Editions of just 20 or 50 numbered prints. And since each artwork is printed only when ordered, many will never reach those limits — making every piece even rarer and more personal.

We print with museum-grade giclée techniques on 200gsm Enhanced Matte Art Paper, ensuring rich, lasting colors. Each print is produced as close as possible to its destination — in the UK, the Netherlands, the USA, Canada, or Australia — to reduce carbon footprint without ever compromising on quality.
