Visit Barcelona Poster

Vintage Barcelona travel poster of La Placa Reial by Cha – retro airline-style art print from the Spanish Capsule™ collection.

Celebrate the sun-drenched elegance of Barcelona’s iconic Plaça Reial with this vibrant vintage-style poster. Nestled just off Las Ramblas, this palm-lined square is a favourite of both locals and travelers, known for its lively terraces, Gaudí-designed lampposts, and Mediterranean flair.

Inspired by classic airline advertisements from the mid-century golden age of travel, artist Cha reimagines the plaza with bold halftone textures, sunny ochre tones, and crisp linework. The poster cheekily announces "3 flights daily from London", adding a fun nostalgic touch for collectors and Barcelona lovers alike.

The scene features stylised palm trees, wrought-iron streetlamps, and the timeless arcade façades bathed in light — all rendered in Cha’s naïve yet masterfully balanced style. Whether you've wandered this square or dream of doing so, this art print instantly transports you.

Fun Fact

The lampposts depicted in this poster were designed by a young Antoni Gaudí in 1878 — long before Sagrada Familia. They still stand today as one of his earliest public works.
