This Shipping Policy applies to purchases made on myretroposter.com, operated by Jardel Artis Holdings SL (NIF B26641837), Carrer Sant Pau 4, 08870 Sitges, Barcelona, Spain, trading as MyRetroPoster.
This policy forms an integral part of our Terms of Service.
Local Production for Global Delivery
All MyRetroPoster artworks are produced on demand and manufactured as close as possible to their final destination. This reduces transportation distances, customs complications and environmental impact.
We work with trusted professional fine art production partners in several regions:
- European Union – printed in the Netherlands
- United Kingdom – printed locally for UK orders
- United States – printed locally for US orders
- Canada – printed locally for Canadian orders
- Australia – printed locally for Australian and Oceania orders
Production location may vary depending on logistics, product type and operational requirements while maintaining the same professional quality standards.
Regional Production Sizes
Orders produced in the United States, Canada and Australia are manufactured using local industry-standard paper sizes expressed in inches.
Orders produced in the United Kingdom and European Union are manufactured using metric sizes expressed in centimetres.
As a result, slight dimensional variations may occur between products manufactured in different regions. Such variations are normal, do not affect the artwork itself and do not constitute a manufacturing defect.
Production Times
- Rolled posters: typically 1–3 business days
- Framed posters: typically 36–72 hours (1.5–3 business days)
Orders placed after 8 PM PST (Los Angeles time) may be processed on the next business day.
Express shipping affects transportation time only and does not reduce production time.
Estimated Delivery Times
- EU, UK, USA, Canada, Australia: typically 3–7 business days after production
- Asia, Middle East, South America and Rest of World: typically 5–15 business days after production
All delivery times displayed on our website, at checkout, in order confirmations, tracking pages or communicated by customer service are estimates only and do not constitute guaranteed delivery dates.
Actual delivery times may vary due to customs clearance, carrier performance, weather events, labour disputes, public holidays, force majeure events or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customers purchasing artwork for a specific event, exhibition, opening, wedding, celebration, deadline, holiday or occasion acknowledge that delivery dates are estimates and should allow sufficient time for production and transportation.
Delays caused by third-party carriers, customs authorities or circumstances beyond our reasonable control do not constitute grounds for cancellation, chargeback, compensation or refund.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges, where applicable, are displayed at checkout before payment.
Framed artworks and panels incur shipping charges calculated automatically at checkout based on destination, dimensions and weight.
Where available, express and overnight delivery options may be offered during checkout.
Packaging
- Small formats (S / A4) are generally shipped flat in reinforced protective envelopes.
- Medium and large posters are shipped rolled in reinforced eco-friendly cardboard tubes.
- Framed artworks are shipped with additional protective materials and corner protection.
Damaged Parcels
If your order arrives damaged:
- If visible at delivery, please refuse the parcel where possible and notify us immediately.
- If discovered after opening, contact us within 7 days of receipt.
- Please provide clear photographs of both the product and its packaging.
Verified transport damage or production defects will normally result in a free replacement or another appropriate resolution.
Lost or Missing Parcels
A shipment is generally considered lost if it has not been delivered within 30 days after dispatch.
Before a parcel is declared lost, carrier investigations may be required.
As all MyRetroPoster artworks are published as limited editions and produced on demand, investigations will normally be completed before a replacement or refund is authorised.
MyRetroPoster may, at its sole discretion, approve a replacement shipment before the investigation has concluded. Such action shall be considered an exceptional commercial gesture and shall not constitute an admission of liability or create any obligation in future cases.
Refunds are generally not available while a shipment remains in transit or while an active investigation is being conducted by the carrier, production partner or shipping provider.
As all MyRetroPoster artworks are published as limited editions, replacement shipments issued during an investigation remain part of the original edition and reduce the remaining available edition count.
If tracking indicates delivery but the parcel cannot be located, we may request delivery confirmation information, GPS data, proof of delivery or other documentation before authorising a replacement or refund.
Claims for loss, damage or non-delivery must be submitted within 3 months of the order date.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Customers are solely responsible for providing complete, accurate and deliverable shipping information.
Orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer shall not be considered lost orders.
If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, failure to collect the parcel or inability of the carrier to complete delivery, additional shipping charges may apply before re-dispatch.
Any replacement shipment arranged before the original parcel is confirmed lost, returned or otherwise resolved shall be considered an exceptional commercial gesture and does not create any obligation, precedent or entitlement in future cases.
Customs & Import Taxes
Most orders are produced locally within the destination region to minimise customs formalities and import charges.
However, certain products, formats or destinations may occasionally require international production or fulfilment.
Where customs duties, import taxes or local fees are imposed by the destination country, such charges remain the responsibility of the customer.
MyRetroPoster is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or local regulatory procedures.
