When you’re a small, independent team — no fancy agency, no dev squad — building (and rebuilding) your own website is always a mix of intuition, trial and error, and a lot of late-night tinkering.
We don’t follow a roadmap. We follow our gut, our taste, and the desire to create something that truly reflects our universe.
So when Posstack, the creators of one of the tools we use daily, decided to feature Myretroposter in their latest case study, we were honestly touched. It’s the kind of recognition that puts a smile on your face… and gives you that extra boost to keep going.
They shared how we turned Shopify’s minimal Dawn theme into a proper online art gallery — one that allows us to beautifully showcase our collection of limited edition retro wall art prints from over 115 countries.
Using their Easy Content Builder, we’ve been able to fine-tune the look and feel of our site to let the posters speak for themselves — from dreamy vintage travel posters to atmospheric surf art and collector editions.
All of it done in-house, just the two of us (and sometimes with the help of a few amazing friends and generous feedback from our community). No shortcuts, no big budget — just a lot of love and dedication to our craft.
🙏 Thank you to everyone who helped shape version 5 of myretroposter.com. This journey is far from over, but moments like this remind us that we’re on the right path.
