Alexandre Jardel-A aka Alecse was born in 1973 and is the youngest son of french artist Bernard Jardel whose composition paintings have been exhibited all around the world and who was called an "optical surrealist" by Victor Vasarely. Alecse grew up in a large and cosy "hotel particulier" in Paris 16th district where his father had his studio and spent hours drawing, painting and taking pictures with an old Polaroid SX-70.
